Description: 1918 Cerutty-Collins (R 65b). Bold serials, suffix X. Good colour and body, light old folds and cross fold, a few pinholes. Ex S.V Hagley collection, Max Stern and Co auction 1976 (Lot 505 for $32,000), Spinks Australia Sale 1982 (Lot 488) and the M.V. Ronald collection. Also the plate note in many Renniks editions, and as featured in numerous articles including CAB magazine July 2002 and Australian coin review April 2023, making this a highly important banknote with such great pedigree.
