| Description: One Pound Store Note W.S Jones, Boulia Qld 1-3-1938. Single-sided colour (orange) store note on paper, No X 15701. Struck through in coloured pencil with BNSW paid duty stamp, impressed 2 Pence stamp and fully signed, and smudged purple stamp on back. Merchant and Importer, payable at the Bank of New South Wales, Winton. Two heavy folds, creases and two spike holes, but rare. Illustrated in MVR 2nd ed pg 60, ex Status S389 lot 12850. VF |
